Community Commitment

Our ethics and business philosophy are based on our roots as a family-owned enterprise. As such, we know our actions will impact the future of our children and the community in which we live and work. And we also know that these actions will ultimately allow us to grow, develop, attract, and retain talented employees.

Our philanthropic fund-raising activities have enabled our employees to establish an endowed scholarship in honor of our founder, John Wyatt, Sr., which will allow some of our employees' children to attend college or trade school. We also support the Adrian (MI) College financially and by providing part-time employment and internship programs for the students there in order to help prepare them for the careers which await them after graduation. With these efforts we demonstrate our commitment to the development of the youth in our community as well as the growth of our local educational institutions.

Other fund-raising initiatives have supported local chapters of the Salvation Army, the American Cancer Society, Kiwanis clubs, and our local Affordable Housing Corporation. And we show our commitment to integrity in our business practices by being active members of our Chamber of Commerce as well as the South Central Michigan Works Board.

So, while we strive to be a successful business endeavor, we will only do so as a positive and contributing influence on our people and the region in which we are building our future and the futures of our families, friends, and neighbors with whom we live and work.
